My story might start out as a sad tale of abuse and exploitation, but the life I am living today is like a fairy tale happily ever after. For twenty years, starting at just six years old, I was abused and trafficked by pedophiles, predators, and pimps. Despite the decades of trauma and despair, on March 18, 2004, I finally broke free, and I've been living a powerful life of freedom ever since.
My life has been redeemed from victim to survivor, and now I am thriving. I've built a healthy, beautiful marriage with Robert, my amazing husband of 22+ years. I've written four books (so far) to give people insight into the dark world of human trafficking. I speak on stages and platforms both in-person and virtually, to share my message of hope, redemption, and restoration. But this is not the end of my story.

And because I've worked in this space since 2009, I can tell you what actions are most important and effective in ending human trafficking, and what is just a waste of resources, time, and energy.
Today, I am using my lived experience, specialized skillset, and unique expertise to dismantle the evil trafficking industry. As a certified coach, I have had the honor of providing training and equipping for professionals in many fields, including law enforcement, military intelligence, special operations, medical and mental health, education, social services, and faith-based organizations. A multi-disciplinary approach is crucial to facilitate strategies to bring an end to human trafficking.
